Eros.

Eros.

A Poem by Candylove.

if i let my wings calm

and take in the shape of the night

i would soar brilliantly through darkness

sound and fury in my ears,

wind welling up in my eyes

i’ve grown too quickly

my shoulder blades ache with a dull pain

constantly pinning them to my sides

when i should let them free

no matter how much it hurts

wind welling up in my eyes - unique. I like how un-touched this is. And how you let the title lend it an underlying metaphor, nice.
