Eros.

Eros.

A Poem by Candylove.

if i let my wings calm

and take in the shape of the night

i would soar brilliantly through darkness

sound and fury in my ears,

wind welling up in my eyes

i’ve grown too quickly

my shoulder blades ache with a dull pain

constantly pinning them to my sides

when i should let them free

no matter how much it hurts

Very nice. Pulls the reader into a darker world nicely done.

A beautiful piece of work. Full to bursting with life. I do not believe one word could be taken or added...this one is perfect.

This is so beautiful. I love how you packed a really enormous punch in so few lines, and the descriptions of everything. I really got a sense of what you were trying to convey. Great job!

when not being free is more painful. i had to read it twice but i think i know where you were going. you should fly before the sky feels foreign...

nice read.

Deep down emotions expressed in your poem. Getting over the past is painful sometimes.

Good write..
