Loves Chance

do you believe in true love?

When Someone says I Love You
How do you know it's true?
Do you listen to what they say
And just say okay?

Do  you think true love is real?
Everyone says it's something you feel
Deep in your heart
And will never stop spreading once it starts

I don't know what to believe anymore
Because I've never felt this way before
I'm scared of getting hurt
I have this feeling that things won't work

I'm afraid to let my guard down
But every time I think of  you my heart begins to pound
Should I go with what my heart says?
Or should I go with my instincts instead?

It's so hard to choose
But hey,  what have I got to lose?
I think it's time for me to take a chance
So baby. . . Let's dance!

This is a very interesting poem as it questions love where not many do. I like that. But really how do you know? It's tough telling someone you love them when you really don't though, I know I've been through that. But for me I followed my instincts and when I didn't, I got hurt. I like the ending- " I think it's time for me to take a chance, So baby....let's dance!"
