Imagine I'm at the Beach

Imagine I'm at the Beach

A Poem by Cloud Composer

My tear falls into the bath tub full of ice
Melting like an iced tea by the beach
I don't know where my sadness went
But it's in there lost somewhere
Surely meeting the other tears
That muffled their voices and their cries
By the coldness that I lie
Many pieces of my mind
Still intact and glowing with a hopeful light

Like the ocean waves my mood is brought
To the rocks that keep pushing me back
So that the shore is near but un-attained
Everyone knows nature is not to be tamed
But I don't know that
I only fail again
Silence only arrives to drag me down
And my new little tears continue to drown
Out every honesty I forever speak
Until the sunset confines me
Underneath the star-less sky
It seems to be a new moon
I cannot bring out any of my sight

Another tear I know is here
Even if my body is numb
I can still feel the sadness disappear
Once again into the bath tub overflowing
From selfish years and questionable fears

End.
