I'm Like This with SchoolA Poem by Cloud ComposerThis is what I was like when I was in high school.
I hate doing homework,
But I do it all anyways. I don't like it, so why? It's my only way to survive. Teachers, the principal, my mother and father Tell me it's good for me, So why do I feel bad for me? It's my life, yet I follow the rules. In my mind, I'm wild and break every school. This is all wrong! The time I get to stop and think Without losing my everything, It's not even a tenth of a millisecond. I work hard at life without working at all; I'm doing nothing but I'm doing my all. You know I'm crazy. I'm a torn up lily. It took me millions of reminders to remember: I'm a lady. Be a lady. As long as I look fine, And I act nice, No one can hate me Even if they later find I've been living oppositely Of what I used to "be". No, I never was. Can't you see the difference between a person and another person? They're not the same Even if they act like grey. Deep down we know we are prisoners, But I'm glad there exists some jail breakers. It'd be great if I could speak without having to overthink. That's why I'm only listening. No reacting to preaches about studying. I dismiss your class. End.
