This is intresting and also creepy. For me, I see thre different possible meanings to this piece.
One: The voices are bad people trying to lead you astray.
Two: The voices are the ones in your head trying to get you to do things you shouldn't.
Three: They're supernatural beings trying to take you into their world.
I like the third the best, and that was the kind of vibe I got reading this.
It's pretty good. Wll done.
I take it as the different fonts are different voices, and that the boldened lines represent your actual voice, the italicized lines as the manipulating voice, and the unchanged lines as the warnings . . . All three coexist within the same mind, and altogether, the unusual poem represents the mental deterioration of paranoia, or rather insanity depending on what factors I take in . . .
I quite enjoyed this piece, it was mesmerizingly wondrous and enticing . . .
My lady, what a hauntingly enchanting piece this. You tell that the voices are so sweetly beautiful and in the same breath you warn me against them! I think that I would not refuse the voices and the enticing song you have them sing, Lady Cloud. You have outdone yourself! Ingenious use of structure, it gave the feel of an argument and conversation, like they were speaking in response to one another. Beautiful.
Amazing. My soul was being dragged away there. And yet I went willingly. Loved the use of structure and the different voices speaking throughout. Instead of imagery, I felt you conveyed everything through music. What a haunting and eerie symphony it would have been.
