I Am a FoolA Poem by Cloud ComposerPeople can be fools, but none are stupid. The clock is ticking And I am still waiting For you who has yet to arrive. The pacing is starting And I am impatient For the meeting that has yet to happen. No, I can’t stand still here! While watching the birds appear. One by one pair they gather, And my heart sinks as time disappears. Please come on here; I know you’re out here With wonder if you should see me. Alas! I am somber in this bright sunny day. I am impatient with, not having to wait But, watching you, yourself, purposely late. Am I really not attractive, That you speak out loud of waste of me To everyone who acquaintances with you and I? Your badmouthing of me I can excuse, But truly hating me I won’t forget, And your rudeness unforgivable To a girl who only wants to be a normal girl. So go ahead and laugh At my hopeful eyes. I know I am the silliest fool, a fool, such a fool. Like you said, I am an ugly lowlife of everything " The simple fool, a fool. However! I am but a fool Because I pay for attention’s intellect And won’t be made a fool; For I admit I have been a fool So I can change well. Just rest your case. I am impatient and don’t wish to wait; No, not for you. And allow me to remind you: I am no fool. End. © 2016 Cloud Composer |
