A map to the confused

A map to the confused

A Poem by Chloe

Floating here
Life is crystal clear
Looking glass defogs
I crawl from my misty grog

Present unwrapped
Bottle uncapped
Lost? Never again
Bear awaking from its den

Cool showers of rain
Opening doors to my brain
A new, fresher form of art
Peels away my selfish heart

Birds escape from the cage
Welcome to the new age
Many a soul once shattered
Never again shall they be battered

Arms open
Feeling throughout
My spiritual being
Nonsense to the uncouth

Thousands of doors
In this close-minded world
This is the one I choose
As the first chapter unfurls

How shall it be used?
As a map to the confused.
