HatredA Poem by Bluntabout a girl who find no meaning in hatingHatred Being cast as outcast Being told you aren’t worth the while Why does it even hurt? This should have no longer been a bother. We should no longer care. Those pains, those words They should mean nothing by now. The truth is It still bugs whenever a person say I hate you. You have no idea why You do wish to know why But you are afraid to know why too For you fear the unknown You fear being hated You fear being rejected The thought of someone hating you Makes you feel as though you are different. Different from others Not welcomed The feeling that just being you for who you are Is the reason you are hated Will you change then? That kind of pain That kind of misery Is it worth it? Just those 3 words I hate you Hatred, it is a scar One that never leaves It is tiring to hate For it constantly reminds you That you have to act this way You have to hate. But in life, There is always someone hating There is always someone loving There are always people suffering There will also always be people hoping. There will be misery, there will be sadness It is up to us to make the best out of everything To seek out true happiness Can one truly be happy when one hates? © 2010 BluntAuthor's Note
