Being yours

I was bored and I just decided to write this. Most of the things I write are FICTION. :)

Holding me close,
When all has failed,
Makes me just happier.
Makes me think all hasn’t ended.
That we all still have a chance.
A chance to be happy.
As happy as the other.
Equally happy as the next.

When I’m with you,
After all we’ve been through,
It makes me forget.
Makes me have no more bad memories.
Remember the times I’ve smiled.
Forgetting the bad.
Forgetting the regret.
Just forgetting it all.
Living in the present and not the past.

When you smile at me,
Knowing I want to frown,
I just have to smile back.
You show me whats left.
Why it’s okay to still smile.
To still have dreams.
To still have hope.
To smile even on bad days.
Never regret anything that made you smile.

To be yours,
Even when I don’t deserve to be,
Shows the glimmer of hope.
Hope that all will be okay.
That the truth won’t hurt.
The truth can only help.
The truth is what got me you.

It is the truth that shall set you free.
