For a class project.

I AM
I am honest and truthful .
I wonder when class will be over.
I hear the creeping of the class room chairs .
I see the clock ticking by.
I want the class to be done with soon.
 I am honest and truthful.
I pretend i like writing this poem .
I feel that this poem will be bad.
 I touch the keyboard and hope to write.
I worry that this will not be finished by the end of class.
 I cry that I’m terrible at poems, both understanding and writing them.
 I am honest and truthful.
I understand that I have to finish these poems.
 I say that I might as well try.
 I dream of finishing this soon.
I try to be good at writing these twenty poems.
I hope it sounds good.
