PHILGLAND

A Poem by candaceflynn
"

combined Philippines and England. i wrote this for my British friend whom i've known when i was a kid.

"

We met when we were so young

you came back after years soo long

i'm sorry i'm not a poet or something

I just write poem when it's boring

you didn't recognize me

you said I have long hair I see

I was glad to see you

I hope you did too

I was looking on facebook for beth

but I saw thousands it took me to death

you said your name has tur key

and i'm glad I found it luckily

different stories we shared,

little time to play we spared

we were bored because of rain

so we played and didn't care of mud stain.

from Philippines to England you go

going home you say "no''

I hope you'd come back someday

and have more time to play

to Facebook I should say thank you

for sending this message from me to you

even though we are thousand miles apart,

you will always be in my heart. ♥

Very tender and affectionate poem for a long lost friend. Perhaps you could do well to capitalize the "i" and use the capital "I" for better readability.
