For many years I belonged to the Sun
revolving around it is my world
giving light to my dark and empty soul

Is it ONLY me you light up for?
Sun, you kept your distance and it still burned
burned from coldness, I ignore

I wandered through space
shoot myself near the Earth
I must not pierce myself but my heart lingered

I found air, I found water
the fresh sensation of having you near
quenching the thirst I've been feeling next to sun

Gravity, please don't let me fall
even if it means freedom, I have no control
for once I hit the Earth all will be destroyed.

I feel the sun, I see from afar
but what if it's all I need?
Is it possible to leave the Sun to be with Earth?
