Hot Like Summer

I woke up to the streaming light through  my window
checked the clock to see it's eight thirty only

grabbed my phone to see what day is it today
my half asleep body awakes fully as I see
September 4, 2013 written on the screen

my brain reviews all the other months
I know there must be something wrong
or did I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed?

BER months should be windy and cold
these months when you feel Christmas is here
but as I think of what's wrong, sweat begins to form
I feel, now I feel, now I know

the air, it's HOT LIKE SUMMER.
