no is such a versitile word but what does it really mean?

A word of many uses

A word that can mean a little

Or even maybe a lot

A word that can save marriages

And sometimes destroy them

No can start wars

Decimate countries

Or sometimes revive them

N can start revolutions

It can save lives

Anybody can say it

But sometimes you cant

No Can be the easiest word to say

But it can also be the hardest

You sometimes want to say it

But something holds you back

You know everyone says it

But can you really mean it

No can cause you heartbreak

Or even ruin

There is no end to saying it

But can you hold onto it

No means the world

I said it once

But it was returned to me

No is freedom

Bur when I said it

No rights were given to me

So why couldn’t they just say yes?
