A Real Man

A real man is there

through thick and thin

he has your back

when the walls are closing in

 

he is there to listen

to whatever you say

he stays by your side

any time of the day

 

he's kind, caring, understanding

and treats you with respect

surprises you all the time

with things you wouldn't expect

 

he will take pride

in whatever you do

ecourage you to be great

as life guides you through

 

a real man won't get mad

or call you out your name

saying it's not abusive

but all abuse is the same

 

he won't hit or beat you

not even make a threat

only a thug will beat you

and choke you by the neck

 

he will not argue

he will only agree

even if he feels you're wrong

to a certain degree

 

a real man will love you

unconditionally in every way

his words are explosive

at times they'll blow you away

 

he will get out of work early

to come take care of home

making sure he's not leaving

you to do it all alone

 

he will make sure you're satisfied

in each and every way

when things are going bad

he'll be there to make them ok

 

even when your friends say

a good man is hard to find

I've been here all along

some women must be blind

 

so to all the women out there

who say they want a thug
