Cold Morning

Cold Morning

A Poem by camilion

On a cold and snowy morning,
The coldest of them all
I thought about your face
trying to feel warmth.
I felt nothing at all.

Flakes coming my direction-
I can see my reflection,
On the windows of the bus station.
I felt nothing at all.

Hypnotized by the snow falling,
Paralyzed by the brumal morning,
My bones shook against my mourning soul,
Trying to find warmth,
I felt nothing at all.

Sitting in the darkness,
Watching the snow fall,
No light near sight,
No love near heart.
I felt nothing at all.

Whether it be nature’s numbing agents,
Or the frozen nature of a broken heart,
I feel nothing at all,
But I want you by my side.

Flakes turn into snowmen,
Darkness turns to light,
What does a broken heart turn into?
I have a whole blizzard to find out.

About
I write insanely to remain sane. It's my creative avenue, the one I like to stroll down the most. I don't know very much about structure or whether I'm doing it "right" or not. I just write what I fee.. more..
