Just A Memory

Just A Memory

A Poem by A Look at Life

I don't want to be just a memory
Memories fade.
You remember the best times
You're haunted by the worst times
The little details don't matter.
Memories change.
You remember something new
Your mind believes it's true
And suddenly the memory is different.
Memories impassion.
You remember the pain
Your heart can't let go
The feeling is relived every day.
I don't want to be just a memory.
But I'm fading more and more
I'm becoming a different person.
I'm in pain every day.
Dont let me be just a memory.
