First Time

First Time

A Poem by Calvin Trilles
"

Another poem for her. This was the last poem I made for her. I promised.

"

FIRST TIME.

It was the start of school

When all the magic happened

We got the stranger looks

In each other’s eyes.

You didn’t notice

But everybody already knew

I’m love struck

The first time I saw you.

But DEAR…

Who will ever forget that one time?

When you left me for him...

Still you will always be here

In the back of my mind

The pretty girl who broke…

My HEART for the FIRST time.

I was not in the mood

That June sunny Monday

When we sat beside each other

But then again sooner and later

You brought me joy

You brought me laughter.

With your eyes I saw

The beauty of the world

And I saw too

What I THOUGHT was my future bride.

But DEAR…

Who will ever forget that one time?

I know I won’t. I just won’t.

Still you will always be here

In the back of my mind

The pretty girl who broke…

My HEART for the FIRST time.

You had me head over heels and so in love

But what we built in the past months

Shattered in a day

All because of a SINGLE mistake

I wish I could go blind

So I won’t see you with him

I wish I could move on

Faster than normal

I wish you hadn’t broken my heart

I wish you hadn’t torn it apart.

I know I should stop writing poems about you

Cause I know it will only remind me

Of the BIGGEST TRAGEDY OF MY LIFE.

But the battle between my heart and my mind.

Keeps me going back, keeps me on REWIND.

I promise Dear, this is the LAST.

I will never forget that single time

You left me hanging on that October afternoon

I hope you’ll be happy now.

I wish you won’t do the same to HIM too.

Because it hurts like hell when I see HIM and YOU!

Oh Dear, you’ll always be in my stupid mind

The pretty, adorable, funny, fun-to-be-with girl who broke my heart for the FIRST TIME.

Calvin Trilles
It's hard trying to live a normal life with a broken heart. That's what I realized. In my young age I saw the other side of love as being jolly and happy and generous. This experience was not what I really want to have. But I know it can helo
