Jealous

This first poem is something I made for a girl who kinda broke up with me. She found another guy and there I am. still, loving her. Here I gave clues of the person behind the handsome guy.

Why in the world am I feeling this way?

I know I shouldn’t be

Yeah, I shouldn’t be

This heart of mine is so stupid

 

I don’t know why I’d compare him and me

But I know I shouldn’t be

Yeah, I shouldn’t be

This heart of mine is so stupid

 

Never in my life that I had said

I don’t love you anymore

Because telling that would be lying to myself

Now you like him

But my Dear, I’m jealous.

 

He’s handsome and he’s team captain

In the room, all the girls blush whenever he’s in

And I’m the geek who writes about him and them

Compare him and me- I’m the CHARCOAL and he’s the GEM.

 

I remember the time when you used to tell me you liked me

And I can’t even believe if it was true

To me you’re sweet as sugar, pretty like your Mommy

When you’re around I feel my heart’s in a hurry.

 

 And now he’s the one that you like

And it’s not to blurry to see why

All the girls tell he’s cute, smart and funny.

And he makes their imaginations fly

 

Never in my life that I had said

I don’t love you anymore

Because telling that would be lying to myself

Now you like him

But my Dear, I’m jealous

 

 And I know this love we had will never comeback

And now you love him like what you did to me months back

I guess I’ll never move on now-Just stuck here waiting for NOTHING to come back

Cause baby you like him now

And I know its time for me to take a vow...

 

The harder I try to move on, be far, away from you

The more my heart wants to jump right back closer.

Dear, this heart of mine is so stupid.

 

Never in my stinking life that I said that I don’t love you anymore

BECAUSE I STILL DO!

YES I STILL DO!

But now you like him, the handsome, cute, funny, LUCKY team captain
