Call me home

Call me home

A Poem by Marina

I want to be what you call home,
where you lay your head at night
I want to be where your worries dissolve
and the weight's lifted off your chest

I want to be where your walls come down
where you hold no caution for the wind to catch
I want to be where your day unwinds
and where you wake up for the next

I want to be the promise that never breaks,
one whispered from my heart to yours
I want to be what you call home,
a constant safety where you can be yourself.

I like this poem , it's soft and I can feel the yearning in the feeling of the way you write , good job :)
