I won't take less than you

I won't take less than you

A Poem by Marina

Trickling thoughts from memory to mind
Losing all the silence that I find
Wishing that the sounds of you and me
were all I heard

Feeling somehow dragged down too deep
Wonder if this is something I can keep
What if I lost this hope by morning,
and cursed the light of day?

It's far too easy being down
Love, you make me want to climb
It's far too easy being down
I will not stand for giving up

What if I fell into the same routine
Would you still see traces of me?
What if this slipped from my hands,
would you remind me?

It's far too easy being safe
Love, you make me want to risk
It's far too easy being safe
I will not stand for comfort when we could have this

This is a nice poem about taking the big risk of falling in love.
It has a nice flow to it and my favourite part of the poem is the fourth stanza because I think it is something everyone fears when they are in a relationship. Great job!
