Fire

Fire

A Poem by Marina

watch the fire burn bright, strong, determined
flames dance roughly on the smooth surface of the floor
climbing, higher, forming walls in mid air
as they sway to the wind of my breathless prayer

hush thoughts, hush
embrace the warmth, the deeply hidden burning fire
play gently, play rough
forcing the fiery walls up higher

dark deep heat as I close my eyes
floating on a cloud black as the night
soft velvet touch of flames on my skin
such a sinfully good place to be in.
