A Poem by Broken Soul

As your kind innocent soul fades from my memory

I cannot help but reminisce on your existence

The smile that spread across your forgiving face

The sounds that you created out of joy

The way your arms wrapped around me as we said goodbye

I wish I had known that it would be our last

I am sorry for your loss, Broken Soul....if only we could know if it were the last time...but
death doesn't like to give us warning...it just knocks on the door, and we have to go with it.
a really impassioned tribute to your friend.

A poignant and reflective write. We just do not know what is waiting around the corner. I am sorry for your loss which is so well expressed in your lines.
