phantom strings

phantom strings

A Poem by callie...

PHANTOM STRINGS
a murmuration of starlings
grounded into earthlings
clocked in and clipped wings
gravity and the weight it brings...
a wreck of birds thrown into this sea
sucked into whirls and pools of catastrophe
hypnotized by the persistence of memory
chasing the costly, instead of letting things be...

This is short yet very lovely.
"a wreck of birds thrown into this sea
sucked into whirls and pools of catastrophe"
Amazing line.
This write is fantastic but personally I find that the font you have chosen takes away from the poem a little.
Excellent write overall!
