Yalix Con: The Exodus

Yalix Con: The Exodus

A Chapter by Calix Martinez
"

A group of survivors search for meaning and survival in the wreckage of the world.

"

The sands of time fall from the hour glass. Our caravan has long been lost.
We are lost.

We walk on the border of reality and a dream seeing mirages of familiar places.
Reminders of how far we are from home.

We've abandoned our sanctuary to seek what has not been found,

what has been lost,

whatever remains.

You see where we're from they do not hope or dream.

They do not partake in reality.

They have sold themselves to an Ancient Machine,

and we will not surrender to the Unearthed Beast.

The one before me,
Robert Nester Marley.

Through his Exodus, the lesson I learned.

"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, for only yourself can free your mind."
