Soul Search

Soul Search

A Poem by Carissa Marie

This is where you'll find me.
Beyond the chaotic noise and the city lights,
My soul rests upon these quiet waters.
I am submerged deep within the waves
Where no one can reach me.
I am not lost,
But I long to be found.
Call to me from the shores
Where you stand.
Your voice will seduce me
And wake me from my slumber.
I may not know who you are,
And how you will come to know me
But if ever you find your self longing for me,
This is where I shall wait.

I am not lost, but I long to be found. That says a lot, its like you are far on purpose, like you are actually waiting to be recognized. Tell. who is this person waiting for? The gender is hidden, which makes it even more interesting
