The beautiful thiefA Poem by Carissa MarieShe took you away; With her long ebony hair That falls like soft petals Around her innocent face. You were mesmerized; With her sweet smile That seems inviting enough To lure you into her world. The way she kept you at bay, Made you gravitate your way Towards her more. Like the sinful apple From the Garden of Eden That tempted both Adam and Eve, You were in every way tempted To take a bite and reveal her secrets. As thrilling as taking a dive, You took the plunge so instantly. And with a taste of her soft lips, She took you away. Just like that, She took you away from me.
