A spur in timeA Poem by Carissa MarieTwo people, Sitting side by side. No words uttered, No movements made. Both trying to sense and feel The deafening silence in the air. Slowly, she started to move. Inch by inch Until he's within reach. First, a finger And then another. Til her hand's entwined with his. They sat like this for a long time. Relishing, Absorbing, Feeling, A special moment Of a spur in time. But as slowly as their hands interweaved, One by one, First, a finger And then another. The bond is broken And reality awakes.
