four corners

four corners

A Poem by Carissa Marie

Trapped in this four corners
Barred from the life of freedom
This barren box of prison
Takes away my youth.
It sucks the soul
Away from my being
Leaving me with nothing
But a body filled with air.
I lie awake
Staring at the nothingness
Forever trapped
In this unforgiving solitude.
And so I watch
As my life fades away
Unchanging
Forever trapped
In this four corners
Of despair.

You're welcome (:
This is very sad ghostwriter. I can feel your despair. Sense your pain. You conveyed your sorrow at a wasted youth very well. Thanks you for the lovely poem.
