Forgotten loveA Poem by Carissa MarieSo I watched Toy Story a while ago and got the inspiration for this. :)I smile sweetly As I see you approaching. It has been years Since you last laid your eyes on me. Will I receive a hug this time? Even just a simple hello will do. But you ignored me. Not even bothering to acknowledge My presence. It was just a fleeting glance. Not enough to get your attention. Don't you even remember me? Just for a tiny bit? I remember how you used to love me Is that all forgotten? I guess we really have Grown apart. So I sunk deeper into this corner of the shelf in your room. Hoping that maybe next time You'll finally see me, Finally remember me, Finally hug me. Until then I'll just be a forgotten toy Waiting to be loved again.
