Reaching out

I reach out to touch the stars,

To see the beauty of the heavens.

To try to remove the scars,

That this world and life has given. 

I reach out to touch the stars,

And float to a place unknown.

To go through earth or mars,

To the place where my dreams have flown. 

I reach out to touch the stars,

Hoping for a new beginning.

To escape away from this bars,

And to keep my light from fading. 

I reach out to touch the stars,

And feel my soul drifting away.

I'll leave my life of farce,

I'd let my heart show me the way.
