I can't take the pain.

I can't take the pain.

A Poem by Katrinka Johnson

I want the truth,

I've caught you in this lie of yours,

More than once,

I want the truth.

I can't take this anymore,

Than pain had gotten to bad,

My heart is heavy,

My body numb.

Why can't you be honest,

Why can't you just tell them to leave you alone,

I saw what she said,

I've seen what you said.

It's all you,

No one else,

Your the one doing this to me,

Your the one who's killing me.

It's not your friend it's you,

It was you the whole time,

Don't lie to me anymore,

I know it was you.

You slipped up last night,

While you were on you messaged her again,

You never told her to leave you alone,

You never will.

What did I do wrong,

What did I do,

I don't understand,

All I ever did was love you.

And this is how you repay me,

You told her everything she wanted to hear,

Made her want you more,

And you still do.

You need this stop this now,

Before it's too late,

Before everything that's wrong,

Gets even worse.
