Give Me Your Eyes

Give Me Your Eyes

A Poem by Caleb Benton

I've lived most my life, perception distorted.
False truths I've believed; environment supported.
I've sought after love, seeking to find.
Something I've always had, of a kind.
Time I've been wasting, impossible to replace.
Its gone now, lost in the past without a trace.
I NOW VOW TO WASTE ABSOLUTELY NO TIME AT ALL.
I GIVE MYSELF UP TO YOU AND TO US FOR THE LONG HAUL

Huh. This is alright. "I NOW VOW TO WASTE ABSOLUTELY NO TIME AT ALL" looks rad in all caps. Nice use of a semi colon, too. I think you used it right. I'm scared shitless of those things. I don't even know if I spell it right. Lubbock is a nice place. To visit, anyway. Keep writing.
