Unnamed

A Poem by Caleb Benton
"

just something that spilled out one day.

"

It's time to stand up.

It's time to stand out.

I'm gonna take it all in,

But it won't get me down.

I won't be proud,

but I'll stand tall.

I'll stand above the rest.

Yet still feel small.

I'll do my very best.

Be the best that I can be.

Hopefully, when it's done,

you'll be proud of me.

Now to be honest.

Now to tell the truth.

Although I stand up,

Although I stand tall,

I'm the most scared of all.

I'm scared for us.

I'm scared for the youth.

That is why

I do what I do.

I do it for me.

I do it for you.

To help for good.

To help some live.

My life isn't much,

But it's all I can give.

this is very inspiring piece. Indeed we have a good feeling when we know others like what we do, say and how we treat others. Wonderful piece, the causal power which will be knowable in futre, and that it is
knowable in others and in oneself. thank you for submitting this to my contest. l. gandr
