Gentle with my soul

Gentle with my soul

A Poem by caleb
"

this is about a friend I know.

"

Be gentle; so gentle I can’t feel.

Touch me so soft that I don’t even know your there.

I’m too fragile to let my calloused soul be shared.

Be so ever gentle that I might not know your there

Be a soft petal against my rough hand, an embrace so soft  it seems to disappear,

A breath so shallow, hiding death too near.

Let me feel but a shadow.

Let me see but a smell.

Just leave me be, but a shell.

Be gentle with my soul; so gentle that I can’t feel.
