Still wind

Still wind

A Poem by caleb
"

booya!

"

The wind blows and cars drive by; yet I stand still.

My will has run its course; I have no fight left.

I keep a sarcastic smile on my face.

My eyes see and perceive that I can’t comprehend the world outside the world within me.

My beautiful sadness sings the song of my pitiful strength, which puts the sarcastic smile on my face.

I love the line "my eyes see and percevice that I can't comprehend the world outside, the world within my eyes." - its amazing.

I think this could easily be written into a short story as well.
Reading these lines makes me wonder why there is a lost will to no longer fight.
