Here a Lonely Night

Here a Lonely Night

A Poem by Raja

Here a lonely night

and I can feel your gentle breath,

                                    soft regret,

as you make an effort to a dream;

Here a lonely night

and molten sorrow on your cheeks,

                          play their tricks,

as you fight to make a smile supreme!

Here a lonely night

as the moon sheds its hue,

                  just for you,

and tell you,you aren't alone;

Here a lonely night

as the breeze sings a song,

                        all along,

and cools your heart in hushed-up tone!

Here a lonely night

as your tears dry up into sunshine,

                            unlike mine,

and show you life again;

Here a lonely night

and lonely it will be always,

                as gloomy days,

steal the life flowing in my vein!

whoa. I like this. It reads to e of a couple different layers. I love the way the environment shifts when reflecting on "Here a lonely night".
