Dragged Into Drama

“What’s going on with the whole Jordan thing?” I asked, not really knowing what to expect. I have no idea what’s going on other than the fact my friends are pissed with Jordan for whatever reason.

    She sighed, “He’s being a dick. We’re all sick of it.” How was he being a dick? What did he even do?

“Well, how is he a dick?”

“Well,” she started, “He acts like we don’t care about him. We’ve all always been there

for him, but never sees us, and twists it back around on us later. We’ve done nothing but care about him, yet we’re always the bad guys and are making him look stupid.”

“I’m not taking sides. I’ll talk to him about it.” What mess had I gotten myself into this

time? I try to avoid drama as much as possible, and asking just brought up a whole bunch of drama that I wanted no part of. “I regret even asking.”

    “Well, really, we’ve always offered our help and he never takes it. We’re getting tired of it. None of us are doing anything wrong yet he’s making us seem like like we’re the awful ones. It started with him thinking we told him he couldn’t be upset about MCR getting back together or whatnot. No one said he couldn’t be upset we just told him why he shouldn’t get his hopes up and why he should be happy in the first place”

    “He’s gone through a lot and his medication messes with his moods.”

    “I understand that, but that can’t be an excuse for everything he does.” Oh, here we go, she’s on a tangent now. Why did I even open my mouth?

    “No, it can’t be, he needs to learn how to control it.” Will this get her to calm down? Maybe?

    “And now he’s insulting Melanie’s religion and acting like he knows more about it than she does. We’re just sick of it. We aren’t even doing anything wrong, we’re just defending ourselves against false claims and he’s making it seem like we’re turned against him or something.”

    “Now I’m dragged into all of this drama.” I absolutely hate drama, yet somehow I managed to drag myself into this. I just wanted to know what was going on.

    “You asked, I answered. Don’t worry about it too much unless Jordan brings it up.” Don’t worry about it? My friends aren’t happy with each other right now. I know I wanted to know what was going on but this wasn’t by any means what I expected to happen.
