the wheel is yours again whenever you're ready

the wheel is yours again whenever you're ready

A Poem by caitlin m.

light up in a secret place
familiar taste
chocolate laced
small towns
on sunny days
remind me of
you guessed it
don't you remember?
madera to monterey
gold rush towns
to mountain maddness
windows down
the wind catches my skirt
plays pekaboo with the hem
and the corners of your mouth
cigarette butts
and one hit kisses
this girl seems to shoot
until she misses.
