![]() Down in the MireA Poem by Caitlin Lea![]() There is a place that feels like home.![]() Down Down in
the mire, There is A place That
feels Like
home. The rooms
Are empty And I’m All
alone, But, oh How I
love it" I love My home. There is Crying, In my
living room Over tainted Spilled
milk. My
curtains Are

not Complaining, My choice Is in
stone. ‘Cuz I
really love it. I love My home. When I Get
lonesome Friends Stop by. They
bring Reproving
Pudding And humble
pie. I am The
hostess" A lovely
lie. Because
they Aren’t
welcome Here in
my Home. © 2012 Caitlin LeaAuthor's Note
