Vices

Vices

A Poem by Caitlin Lea
"

If you jump off the peak, I will catch you.

"

Add your vice

To my own

Prideful lust,

Lusty pride.

Gloat

In your guilty

Pleasure.

If you jump

Off the peak,

I will catch you.

I jumped

Secretly

Long ago

A week or two ago,

A degree or two.

Heat rises

In my

Cold eyes.

I wonder

Where is my virtue?

Wow. This is fantastic. I love it.
It's so... empty. I know that sounds like a weird criticism, but it's a compliment, I promise! The vaguely interested tone of 'I jumped / Secretly/ Long ago / A week or two ago," is just great. I love it. :)
I very rarely favourite anything, but I might just have to favourite this.
