Fingerpaint

Fingerpaint

A Poem by Caitlin Lea
"

...irresistable, inevitable....

"

You love me

With fingerpaint;

Your fingertip brush

Teases my skin.

We flirt

With polarity--

Irresistible, inevitable.

Embers eagerly wait

To ignite

With a single spark.

You are the fire,

And, I, the ice,

Melting,

To my dismay--

To my delight.

You are the language

Of true love

Personified,

And, I, the literature,

Written by fools

Like us.

Written in 2011. Are you still together ?
Was he the one, or 2 or 3 ?
I have been busy, just started reading you.
This is clever, poetic genious all over the place.
Write me more and post it in Dead Poets or
A Stream of Consciousness. OK ?

Quite the Heart's beat...
