Spider

Spider

A Poem by Caitlin Lea

Your sultry swagger--
Drunk on blood--
Is envied
By royalty.

You are elegant
In symmetry,
And rule your world
With fear.

Black mirrors
Are sparkling jewels
Balanced on slick
Tender needles.

Sway on.
Weave your shimmering
Verses that beckon your readers
To death.

This is one deadly spider, or a spider-like person that belongs in a fairy tale. Wonderful inspiring poetry!
