Worth Not Dying For

Worth Not Dying For

A Poem by Caitlin Lea

Just
A sigh
As your
Body

Falls against
Mine.
Just one
Little

Smile
As you
Sleepily
Return

My words
Of love.
Just arms
Fitting

Perfectly
Around
My neck.
Just

An
Unsolicited
Kiss
So rare

It touches
Me strangely.
Just you
Putting aside

The times
I've done
You wrong.
Just me

Knowing
There will
Be no
Dying

Tonight.

wow, "there will be no dying tonight"

the unsolicited kiss is a nice touch to this...

the acceptance brought forth in this piece.

and again, that off beat beat...with the short lines that gives great pace...

Thanks for your positive feedback!
Almost felt like a stopmotion video. The end was very powerful for me. This piece brought up a lot of memories of past relationships. Great job! I hope my awful reviewing skills did not offend you haha.
