Save Me

I wrote this poem about my best friend when I found out she has been cutting and starving herself. When she told me, it was her cry for help.

Please save me

from these thoughts in my head.

From these blades cutting into my wrists.

From this mouth that refuses to eat.

Please save me from myself.
