A Poem by caterpillar

bodies are meant to be broken
our atoms revolve around ourselves
before they cease attraction
undoing all our double-tied knots
double fine dust
rest, inaction

not everyone is fit to be
the loneliest companion.

Terrific analagy for death. The last two lines tripped me up, but in a good way. Are we "the loneliest companion" while we are alive and fall back into oneness when we die?

It's a soothing poem, a nice touch for the subject matter.

I love the way you compare ourselves to a knot. How you can undo a knot, but you can never undo pain. Great write. :)
