Emotional Shell

Emotional Shell

A Poem by Caio Emmanuel
"

About how badly I wanted a person to open herself up to me.

"
Make me sad.
Ruin my life, let me down.
But do tell me. Don't hide me your face or your tears in a porcelane mask, nor in a hair wave. Don't look away and take your suffering out of my way. Let it where I can see it. Don't occult yourself in shadows and blankets, in velvet, darkness secrets. Don't lie, don't degenerate our bond and let the truth stand up step-by-step, a moment at a time.
Let your words flow, let yours feelings show. Allow me to reveal your pain, even they don't make any good.

Hurt me.

Torture me. Cut my heart, but don't deny me your soul, whichever it is, black or white, gorgeous or hedious, happy or sad.

Expose yourself.

Let me hold you and let you weight, let me be your shelter, your dearest refuge, your umbrella, your body-guard. Undestand my wish. I just wand a Yes, a Carte Blanche...
Your simple permission, crazy lonely. Let me use the benedict key that will show me your heart.

This is really sweet. You can feel the sense of longing therin... wanting access to someone heart regardless of whether what's in side is good or bad. If it hurts then fine, if its good then fine... just don't hide. Well done, again.
