![]() glory struggleA Poem by Not Afraid of Bruises![]() venting... :)![]() I’m grateful for the things you gave me, Happy to be healthy and running free But why must you limit me inside your Boundaries while I am strangling to breathe. You made the earth, so is worshiping the earth Not worshiping you? I can feel the wind around me, and I can touch the earth below me, But I have never felt your love Enfold me, unless I am on my knees, hysterical and crying. I have no problem being humbled, But faith should be more than pain, grime and tears It should free me from my burdens without Slamming into the dirt. For I know my worth – you gave that to me, and after so long without it I clutch it, tightly. © 2008 Not Afraid of BruisesAuthor's Note
