Body Language Barrier

Body Language Barrier

A Poem by Not Afraid of Bruises
"

another newbie poem - let me know what you think

"

The beat encourages me to move,

Nudges me towards the floor.

Music so loud that talking becomes impossible,

Besides, I do better when I need to interpret my

Voice, and dancing is one way.

Your hands fist in my dress at my hips and

I suddenly become shy, this is no act

But you don’t catch on and you push me further

Until I run from you.
